Hi

Hope you guys can help... I have been pricing up caravan storage in the area. So far the cheapest quote has been £350 per year which includes CCTV, 24/7 access etc, and this place is approx 3 min walk from home.

We are newbies to caravanning, does anybody have any recommdations, does this price seem about right, does anybody know of any places that are good but cheaper... I know sometimes you get what you pay for.. thoughts please

We haven't picked the van up yet, hopefully this weekend  and we can store it at home temporarily... I'm just so excited and I just can't hide it....

Is this a private storage site or a CASSOA site? I think you very much get what you pay for and £350 doesn't sound too bad if it has a decent level of security, although you can get some places a bit cheaper. 

I pay £320 per year on a CASSOA gold site in Darwen with excellent security - 8ft spiked metal perimiter fence, cctv, owners brother lives on site, they keep records of all vehicle reg numbers and there are stringent rules regarding the access gates. In comparison my neighbour keeps his on a bit of spare land at the back of some boarding kennels for less than £100 a year, but there is no security whatsoever.

You can try Cove caravan storage at heywood business park on pilsworth road it was £350 per year.

24/7 security with cctv etc.
