Hi All Hope You Can HELP
We have just bought our first caravan which came with a Sunncamp Prestige Size 8 awning and annex, unfortunately there were no instructions, I have searched Sunnflairs website but to no avail.
We are going away with our 3 children at the end of the month and I would like to spare their embarrassment and our humiliation.
All help greatly recieved

Awnings are pretty similar to erect.
Start by sorting out your poles on the ground before you go away. when you have worked out which are the roof , legs , and front poles , mark them with coloured tapes, so you know what you are doing when you go away.
the roof poles may either have suckers that attach to the van wall,(dont wet them, they'll slide off) or may have hooks on the ends, the hooks will fit into bracket pads .
the bracket pads might be permanently attached to the inside of the awning. or might be loose and you attach them each time you erect the awning .
Some older vans may have brackets screwed onto the caravan wall for the hooks to attach onto. Thats the only real difference ,apart from that, most awnings erect the same way .
Instructions for a trio awning here
this trio one is an older basic model, some newer more expensive ones have the poles pre attached at the corners, or all the front poles spring linked together . I dont know which the sunncamp has , so start by comparing the poles you have to the diagram here and see how you get on .

sunncamp mirage awning instructions for the mirage awning with pole diagram , its quite possible that this is the newer version of the prestige , so worth a look .
if its a sloping sleeping annex , the frame for this could be just 2 uprights with a crossbar, like a goalpost shape that fits the back end of the annexe, and relies on gguylines to hols the annex out taut to keep the shape.
the taller walk in annexe will have a frame at the back end and maybe just a centre roofbar that attaches to the awning side pole with a curved hockeystick shaped pole with a clamp on the end of it .
Other tall anexes might have a roofpole either side of them.

Thank you both much appreciated
Hi DEBBIE Ref -the roof poles may either have suckers that attach to the van wall
We do have Suckers
Ref -or may have hooks on the ends, the hooks will fit into bracket pads .
We also have 3 poles which have hooks on the ends but nowhere on the caravan to hook them to and no bracket pads.
Also not come across any guy ropes ummmmmmmmmm, I think we may have problems
http://www.sunnflair.com/assets/Mirage%20Instructions%20PDF.pdf
We have looked at the Mirage setup but it doesn't show the 3 poles with the hooks
Hi JOE
It would be great if we could have a visual, would it be possible to email the diagram to me my email is estmarks at sky.com
Again thank you both very much

If the hooks are on short lengths of pole they fit through the holes on the front of the awning that match up with the roof/leg pole joiners and fit onto the pole stub that points forward. Then the hooks fit into the eyelets at the front of the overhang on the awning. I have a Sunncamp Majestic so presume they are similar in general design. If they are long poles, I can't think what they are.

These hooks? are they metal hooks like these?
or clamps like this ?
or are they plastic C fittings like this
The top ones are usually the ones that are found on roof poles that dont have suckers, they go into bracket pads. so as you have sucker pads , they may just be additional poles (spares perhaps that the previous owner has bought)
If they are either of the second 2 , they will be extra support legs that go halfway between the centre pole and corner legs.
Alternatively, if you have a tall annnexe they may be the clamps to attch the annexe to the awning poles.
Don't worry about not having any guylines, you can buy new guylines in any camping shop.

Of course! harpmaker is right .
the 3 short poles , about 30cm long will have hooks on , for the front overhang .
the AT symbol in email addresses is always replaced on this forum with the letters AT .(don't know why )

Again thank you, we have the metal hooks and after reading your advice my husband is having a revelation as I type as to where the hooks will go.
Just need to wait for it to stop raining so that we can have a practice.
Will let you know how it goes
