They are not cheap but there are plenty on the second-hand market (I got one on here, on the ads section). They are excellent and the canopy is so quick to put up as it's already on the side of the van and you just unroll it.

We have the Compactalite 250 which we have been pleased with, there are several makes of this style of awning though, I dont know if any of the other makes is better? Its actually a bit bigger than your average little porch, goes up and down in ten minutes flat and is easy to put away (first time up took about half an hour to work out, but was fine after that!) Not suitable for sleeping in, but great as a porch. We also got the weave carpet to put inside. We get a table and three chairs in ours with room to spare.
Kampa Rally 260 for us, and again were very pleased with it, you only fully apprieciate its true quality and features when you walk around a site and compare it with a few cheaper imitations, I really believe that its true that you only get what you pay for!
We paid about £214 for ours complete with the extra rear poles and delivery charge.

Another vote for the Kampa Rally 260 here, for all the reasons that romany girl stated above. Excellent value and quality, I had one for a very good price second hand but hardly used from Flebay.
We have an Outdoor Revolution Porchlite XL bought from UKCS a few years ago. It's a doddle to put up and stows in its own small bag easily. We've used it in some strong winds. It has popped inside out once or twice, but we are talking about winds strong enough to blow the flag pole down on a rally here.
We have a Sunncamp Contempo and could not recommend it more highly. It's huge. We never use our full awning! Shop around, obviously, but here some links:
We have an Outdoor Revolution 390. We had it up over the Easter B/H, plenty of wind and rain to test it and it came through with flying colours. Didnt fancy rolling the front windows up, will do next time we are out I hope. Takes moments to put up too, and doesnt take long to dry either. Plenty of space too, picnic table, chairs and a substantial camping wardrobe too occupy the awning with plenty of room left.
we have just bought the kampa rally 260 which we decided upon after walking round pillaton checking all the 260 awnings out .The kampa looked better quality has the bumpers and didnt move in the strong winds we had
We have a Bailey and a Kampa Rally 260. Surperb awning and quick to put up. Also very sturdy. Got mine almost new for £100. (Only used once) Also got a full NR Pullman for those long stays.
