We have done our first wekkend in our Pegasus 524 and it went very well.

The van towed fantastically, even better than the Bretagne and appeared to have better economy too.  This was perhaps down to the 100kg noseweight.  Granted we have the optional chest, but we  had one large & one small BP light gas bottle in the front locker.  In one of the mini side lockers we had the toilet chemicals, waste pipes and a small water container for filling the loo.  In the other there was lightweight fiamma ramps, a 25m tv lead.

The axle lock & lightweight chairs are under the rear bed.

The interior is exceptionally spacious for a single axle with a very light and airy feel helped by the light colours and the exceptional headroom.

The corner washroom is a good use of space with plenty of space for showering.

It was a real pleasure not to have to make any beds up, but the OH felt that the fixed bed was overly firm, hopefully it will soften with a few uses.

Let's hope this is the first of many happy trips

We think ours is brill!! but we do manage to get the noseweight down to 80kg, we only ever have one full/partfull BP bottle and a nearly empty Gaz 907 for emergencies in the centre locker.

Zafiral, France was great but what a long way we went! We were so chuffed to have our car back for the trip, its the first time we'd taken it to France and driven that many miles. That reminds me i must do site reviews for the campsites we used.

Just out of interest what weight is your Pegasus? We will be changing our v'an in the next 12 months or so. At the moment we are only towing about 1200kgs. The Lunar Clubman we have our eye on comes in at 1460 MTPLM.

Glad you like it, we are very pleased with our Pegasus, which is off to the CC national rally at Whit. Its just up the road for us-so thought we'd give it a go!.

Then off to La Belle France in June/July.
