I have 2 110 amp batteries both now had it because i let them discharge completly !

why if its so important does the volt meter not show green red or change now instead of 18 amp down to to nil when fully charged and half charge is a minute change in the needle.

Does anyone know about carbon fibre batteries ? should i buy one and maybe a Honda 2.0i generator,what reaction for daytime use on cl sites ?

Sorry for a sunday morning moan but when you start caravaning no one at the dealers explains things like battery care.

Are you sure they've had it?

I know that the 110 ah battery on my 'van has been fully discharged, and remained that way for some months (the Mother in law unplugged the 'van when she came to stay), and then again recently the fuse blew in the 12V circuit in the 'van, and again I didn't find out about it until I came to move the 'van.

We've charged it up again, and it seems fine every time. Its a conventional Lead acid sealed leisure battery, nothing special.

Give it a try, you might be surprised, they have immense capacity in the first instance, so even if it only take 70% of a charge, its still lots of energy.
