Hi there, we have been looking into a Lunar Quasar 615 caravan either 2007 or 2008 which seems a sturdy & fairly light caravan for its size. Its the first twin axle we've considered but it does tick most of the boxes except the twin axle bit abroad.
So Im wondering what other twin axle caravanners do when they need an overnight stopover - our plan would normally have been (in a single axle van) to bed down at a municiple but this won't be possible as Im sure they don't allow twin axles - we wouldn't want to be paying through the nose for all the facilities of a holiday site when all we want to do it get some rest and move on to our destination - a holding area with hook up would be just fine. I know people say its a myth about twin axles but Im sure there is some truth to this in France - does anyone know about Italy? I understand that the larger more commercial sites which with our young children we would be heading to wouldn't have a problem with a twin axle.
Can you reassure us?
