Hi all. Got a bailey pageant bretagne which as some of you may know from an earlier post had a delaminated floor within the first year due to battery box leaking.. Bailey eventually repaired the floor after numerous complaints and the floor is now good!!
A year later and now the roof is damp.A yearly service made me aware of this. The interior roof lining of the van is blistered and black. Meter says 100% Damp. Bailey agreed to repair this yet again under warranty. as you can imagine i was not happy at all. 2 areas of my van had or have damp. Bailey were aware of this in oct oof last year and i told them they could have the van anytime for aslong as they want it as i would not be using it until season starts again (easter).
To cut a long story short, they picked it up in feb and had it for almost 5 weeks in bristol. Delivered back in time for easter bank hol only to find that absolutely nothing had been done to it. i was mortified. Bailey said they didn't have enough time.!!
I agreed that it would go back again after easter bank hol and they said it would need to be in the factory for 4 weeks as they were going to replace the front, roof and the back as this was needed they said due to a split panel being the cause.
Bailey took it away and delivered it back today (almost 5 weeks they had it) ready for the bank hol weekend. I couldn't believe my eyes. Nothing had been done to it again. absolutely nothing.
almost 10 weeks of non use in touring season my van has been in the factory and it is exactly the same as it was last october.
I really dont know what to do about this. What are my rights. Anybody had previous experience of this and can maybe give me advice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Bailey has really let me down
