I have been looking on numerous sites ebay internet exc with the intention of buying a tv aerial to recieve freeview in an area with poor to moderate reception for the caravan, but the problem is there are numerous ones ranging between £12 to £85. I want to pay no more than £35, can anybody recomend a good aerial that I could be attached to a pole on the jockey wheel. I have tried the status on board aerial but it is useless in a weak signal area , off to Cornwall next week hope to get it sorted by then

It might be worth thinking about a freeview satellite kit because it will work anywhere in the UK and some of europe Aldi were selling one for £59.99 - it works a treat. It'll save you worrying whether this area or that is digital yet and you tune the receiver in once to the satellite and after that its just a matter of pointing the dish at the satellite and you are off. Gives you the option to take your Sky box away with you too if you want those sports channels while you caravan with that minor football competiton coming up and all!
I got a £9 aerial and a 6ft pole from B&Q. Forgot to get the clamp for the jockey wheel but was able to secure it by wrapping a bungey strap around them both. Was able to get around 80 channels.
