can anyone tell me the price they pay to fill a 10kilo BP light gas bottle, as i ran out and found 1 of only two stockists in west wales and paid £28.99 (leekes), i nearly fell over in shock, is this excessive??
No... well yes, I suppose it is excessive in terms of the cost of LPG generally but not in terms on BP Gaslight. £28-29 seems about right for the 10kg no matter where you go.

Homebase are 28.99 for 10 kg re-fill at the moment so that's the norm I am afraid to say
Rip off considering I bought Spanish Cepsa 11kg bottle of Butane for €11.15 before I came back to the UK in April which will last me hopefully until we go back out next January
TBH the amount of gas that we use is so minimal, I try not to get worked up about the price. I do think that we are paying well over the odds however, so we try to use electricity where we can. I am now on BP 5kg bottles due to the locker size and have yet to see how long one will last, but I will be very surprised if we use two in a season.
We use bp gaslight, bought it from many different places throughout England and Wales, when we have decided to go anywhere we go on the bp website, go on find outlets and type in whereabouts we are going then print out the page(s) with all stockists on. Never been let down yet, and yes it is a tad dearer but you are getting a 10kg bottle, not a 6kg like Calor or Calor lite........if you want to go away int he van you need the gas, you are afterall saving on what you would have used at home. cheers gary
Hi guys, I have recently bought a caravan and picked up a 5kg BP light bottle as my first bottle for my caravan. This was from Homebase.
When I went to my caravan accessory shop they were not sure what I needed to connect it to my gas supply. Is it a kind of regulator you use on your BBQ or is it a direct connection.
At the moment I just bought a 5 kg as needed to keep nose weight down and not sure if the. Larger would fit. I have an odyssey 656, anybody know if the larger fits?

Perhaps you could advise.

According to the Bp website, you can buy the regulaor from Homebase too! It says on there what the actual measurement/type number is as well.
