When we bought our Ranger the previous owner included a Pyramid Spa Awning along with a tall bedroom annexe. We decided that this awning with it's 28mm steel poles and thicker canvas was too heavy to use when touring so we bought an Insignia awning from Towsure.

Does anyone have first-hand experience (although second-hand will be accepted!) as to whether the Pyramid bedroom annexe will fit the Insignia awning? I can obviously try and zip on the annexe but I can't test whether the annexe poles will fit onto the awning frame. The reason I ask is that Pyramid make the Insignia awnings for Towsure so I'm hoping there will be a degree of compatibility.

Thanks.

If the zips are compatible, the poles should fit on without any problem . the poles that attach to the awning frame ususally have either a springy c clamp,

or an adjustable clamp with wing nuts to tighten it.

Pyramid changed their Zips about 3 years ago and to my knowledge they are not cross compatable.
