well a little stroke of good fortune our way today. The awning we bought for our swift at the tail end of last season, but was never able to be put up, fits our new van like a glove.I measured the rail the other day and was surprised that even though the fleetwood is slightly longer(which its position on the storage pitch also proves) the awning fits perfectly.
also when we bought the awning,we purchased a starcamp yet today when we opened it up(only took us 8 months to do this lol)it is clearly marked as a dorema,no mention of starcamp at all.I can only hazard a guess that the supplier has given us the wrong awning when we bought it.
New tyres getting fitted next week along with a brake and chassis inspection,so we will be all set to go away on july 2nd for a long weekend.
all we need to do now is find a pitch somewhere

Hi fife-bloke , do'nt know about a fire, its only recently made the grade for CC and was oppening last month the 30th i think,  think it was two months ago when it was advertised as new club site, its on the edge of the loch and near the pubs, first night good drink, second night quiet drink 2 or 3 beers, maybe 1 or 2 on third night,so will be totaly sober for departure, will let you know how it gose, but if like all the CC sites i'v been to, it will be very good, you can have a look at it in the caravan club web site, select Country, then select Angus click on the small arrow, the site is the only one there, highlight it and hit search,on the site page will be info on the site, view site and charges, and bookings, can book on line if member, by phone if not, need to go now have to pack a few things will keep you posted.

i think that one may be lochside caravn park then john the one that went on fire was just the other side of the a90.
lochside is a nice park though excellent shower block good park for the kids walking distance from forfar town centre so yes it has a lot going for it.
welike foresterseat CP as its really quiet and the rates are really good
