Hi My parents have a Sprite Charisma which has two in feeds and two separate trauma (I think) submersible pumps.

I have plugged one in and that feeds the cold water taps, from the Aqua Roll. I assume the other one will feed the water heater - so do they need two aqua rolls for this? They only have one.

Strange set up. I guess you will need 2 water containers. One feed normally goes to both hot and cold system.

Is one possibly to fill the toilet header tank and other for the water system? Just a thought? Maybe a Sprite owner will come along!

I thought the same, Dave S. Unless both pumps can go into one aqua roll, technically possible, but was just wondering.

The thought only occurred to me last night that as there were two separate inputs for water that that's what the other one was for?

Will be over there this afternoon. Will plug into the other socket and see what happens. Obviously if they are two separate feeds then they will need two rolls, (or both pumps into the one container) as the water heater will keep refilling when the hot tap has been used.

Just wondering how many times they would have to fill one 40 ltr aqua roll if that's the case!

ETA the toilet system has no pump, just one with a top and bottom tank and manual flush and not part of the system.

The only thing I can think up if one aquaroll runs out then is there a switch anywhere inside the van to switch it over to the second pump for a second aquaroll?

Love the double dutch Kip caravan JAX by the way

Hi Tich, no, no switch inside as far as I can see. But two separate outside inlet plugs. I think they must work simultaneously and feed the two separate systems, one hot and one cold water. Trauma (I think) little water heater under one of the beds in a locker. The water inlet I've been using which works with the cold taps doesn't seem to be filling the hot water tank. Maybe it will today, when I switch the hot water system on.... and maybe it needs filling before I switch it on!

Thanks for the kind comments on the Kip! I had to translate my user manual from Dutch to English! LOL! But so easy and uncomplicated - unlike my Dad's caravan! We're both going away for a week to the same site from Sunday, so if I can't find an answer here, maybe someone on the site will know! We have cold water anyway!

Well, am I stressed? I must be.

Went up today, just got back... there is only ONE inlet plug which feeds the whole system. There are, however, two trauma immersion pumps. Doh! LOL!

I have to say in my defence that yesterday was very stressful and it was only last night I got to thinking about having two pumps, somehow, by this morning, I had firmly in my mind that there were two plugs..... just having a hard week.

Just another day at the funny farm here, methinks! Apparantly if I switch on the hot and cold taps, it fills the whole system. First however, we need to charge up the leisure battery... There's a charger next to the EHU on the outside, but a check with a voltometer (sp?) shows it aint charging up the battery. Which is showing a bit of a charge but not enough to provide more than a trickle through the taps. And one of the electric plug sockets isn't working...

Just a few teething problems. I am glad I started sorting Mum and Dad's caravan out on Monday and didn't leave it until the day we went, like Dad wanted to do....

Still got to sort out and pack my own liddle van yet!

Titch, - meant to add I love the Rapido's too, yours looks lovely :)

It's an oldie actually! Apparantly 1990 by the plate, and is actually an Esprit Charisma, very posh! Sounds French to me.

At least I hope it's a 1990, that's what I told the man at Sprite when I was aking about tyre pressures. The code reads 900UL and some numbers on the plate by the door. He said that was 1990... Please someone, tell me I got it right, I've had enoughskis for one week!
