It's the way to go. Our drive is flat but behind stupid gates.
I also wanted to go away with DD for a girly break, don't mind towing but knew I couldn't do the last bit (left hand right hand up down - whatever) and now I don't need to worry.
Will also stop the looks from OH when I try to direct him onto a pitch
I have just had a Powrtouch 4WD fitted to my twin axle caravan. Superb!!! Can move it where I like on my own. Definately makes a difference having the 4 wheel drive version. It can turn quite sharply. Not as sharp as a single axle but close to it. Wouldn't be without one now as my hubby can not also come away with us so it means I can move it to exactly where I want it!!
we are waiting to have a Royal Atlas fitted, as yet they do not appear to have been imported, we go away next Monday & although I do not have a prob with reversing - ( I work on a large farm ) I like the idea of being able to put the caravan in a position where access is restricted
