Hi

Could any one tell me if the above would fit into the hole of the old roof light without cutting the roof on a 2007 Swift Challenger 480?

Hi spring tide,I have just done this job on my van, if your old roof light is a 400x400cm one then its a straight swop if you go to Wizards fixed it site there are details of whats involved a fairly simple job and well worth doing for the extra light it lets in.

High Tide

Just done this on a motorhome, all the ones that I looked at were for roof thickness 25 to 60 mm which I would think that your van would come within.

hi Spring tide the 400x400 comes with full instructions tho they are not very clear

there are lugs that may need to be cut depending on the thickness if your caravan roof if you are not confident of doing the job yourself your caravan dealer will charge around £35 to fit it for you. to find the thickness of your roof remove the interior surround of your present roof light it just screws off and measure the thicness from the alli outer skin to the interior of your roof  these vary and in the instructions for the mini heiki it tells you what size the lugs need cut too.Have a look at wizards fixed it site (on here) thereare step by step instructions and photos as to how to do it.

HOPE THIS HELPS! PS the link in Michael,s post is the one I,m on about.
