When we got our new van, we were so excited, but there were no caravan parks open up here as it was the end of the season. So we brought her home.....sorted out the bunks for the kids, cooked tea, watched TV and then slept in the van......all on our front garden.
Our neighbours thought we were bonkers.....but we had a great time. Then when we got her back out of storage just before Easter, as it was DS's 7th birthday.....he wanted to sleep in it, again on the garden....before we then went away for our first 'proper' trip.
We've been just about every other weekend since Easter...and every time we go to collect her and bring home to get her ready, I have a huge smile on my face.
Now we are looking forward to our first summer holiday trip with her.....
