Greetings All,
The question is sort of in the title.
I have a friend who has reached the wonderful age of 70yrs. Before he wrote off to DVLA he was going to ring me but didn't, (much to his other halfs now annoyance)
Anyway, to cut a long story my mate forwarded his licence to Swansea and it came back quicker than a speeding bullet limiting him to 3500kgs which is a problem.
His wife thinks it highly amusing that he should now display L plates and be supervised by the lady who has never towed in her life.
This is where you lot come in. He/They know that in order to get his 'rights' back it will be necessary to have a medical but other than that, he and me have no idea as to the protocols involved.
Is there anyone out there who has been through this.
I would like to think that he can go for a medical, send off (hopefully a good result) to Swansea and he gets his full entitlement back.
We both hope that, in sending his licence he hasn't lost his entitlements without going through a test.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
