I am considering going for  a 4 birth caravan no heavier than1200 kgs max weight.Year would be about 2000. The Dart 475 appears to fit this criteria, so long as it is not younger than 2001(then they get heavier) Does anyone have problems with this model ?Are there any other vans that would suit. At present I have a Swift Classic Coronette 2 birth 1996, but with  my wife and I plus a growing grand daughter we need least one more bed. Any advice would be most welcome.

One good place to look for the type of caravan you would like is Caravan Finder I personally have an Avondale Dart Mayfair only 2 berth but absolutely love it. We haven't had any problems with it at all. They look different from a lot of other vans being cream in colour. It is just a shame they stopped making them.

We used to have a Dart 510 (our first van) and it was great. If I recall the 510-5 had a max weight of 1250 and a miro of about 1030. The only thing we have found looking for vans (our children are a bit older) is making sure they can get in and out of the bunks and that the top bunk is big enough.
