Hi - I'm new to caravanning, and just about to buy my first van. BUT, living in SE London (near Lewisham), I need to find somewhere to store it - does anyone know of a storage facility/farm/campsite in SE London or close by (north Kent)? Any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks very much for that. I did have  look at that but couldn't find anything that close to SE London. I may have found a farm somewhere near Orpington which might be suitable...  Do you know what's the usual kind of annual fee??

I got a list of storage sites from my dealers. Pop into your local dealer, kid on your serious about buying a caravan from them but need storage and see what they produce.

There's a CASSOA site in Orpington (check the CASSOA website for more details).

For a proper site (like a CASSOA one with big fences, CCTV, on-site security etc), you'll be looking at between £500-£700 per year, whereas a farm may only charge £200 (depends on indoor, outdoor, security levels etc).

I pay £450 for a locked compound near Dorking (no CCTV, caravan outdoors)...
