I bench tested one before I fitted them on a test bench at work using a regulated power supply and a lux meter and they reach maximum brightness ant 8 volts and I left it running 27 volts overnight to test the voltage regulators reliability and it was fine at £2.50 I am well impressed.
The lamps on the Delta came off by inserting a screw driver in the small aperture at the base and giving it a twist.

AsAbove But I used finger nails, it took me ages to fathom them out as they are tight.. I replaced the capsules this weekend with 24led cluster (warm white) supposed to be = to 10watts.
I found no differance in light though about 1/2 a shade warmer.
Got a photo of the lunar spot G4 led in fitting .in Jpeg could any one tell me how to attach to this email, so are friend can see if his are the same as mine.

I changed all my lights to leds. As someone else mentioned there are warm and cool lights. I put the cool ones in kitchen and bathroom(brighter light) and warm ones in lounge and bedroom (more subdued light). I got mine from a firm called Aten lighting- they are in Melton Mowbray. They have a stand at most major shows, but there mail order is very good. I would resist buying cheap leds, you get what you pay for. Aten only supply quality leds. You know the old saying- buy cheap- buy twice
