pardon my ignorance but do you have to pay site fees as well when you get there? i was once told you do.now that would make expensive.at £2400 we could use the hilton hotels.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

As far as I am aware no site fees to pay, so disgusted I didn't stay on the phone long enough.
Friend of mine has a static in the Lakes and only pays £1500 annual site fees on a 36 footer !

I think thats what one of the sites on the A31 near Bournemouth are asking for a seasonal pitch too.

OK it's not a caravan but.....
The seasonal pitch for my Cabanon Athena (sleeps 6) on the edge of the New Forrest, 5 minutes walk to the sea, costs £12pw & normal site fees of up to £22per night when I stay.
Sounds like I have rather a good deal

South Devon is just as expensive especially near the coast. I believe some are £3,000 odd now. We were paying £1800 for March 15th to October 31st. Add in winter storage fee and very little change from £2,000.
Ok if you are retired but we aren't so for us it was an expensive option. Now using tow and stow and much cheaper plus if we do go seasonal at our new site, it is £1,000 for the summer.
