We keep our caravan at home, but when we are away,... it is obvious !! Many owners have reported bits missing or even caravans damaged or stolen from storage sites...so in your opinion where is the safest place to keep the caravan.
Ours is safer in storage. We have no drive and horrible little brats living around us who would damage it just for the fun of it if it were on the street.

We have a drive, but I wouldn't keep the caravan in it now. Spme years ago, a police officer told me that burglars look for houses that normally have caravans. When the caravan is away, so are the occupiers, and that's when they break in.
I took my caravan to storage shortly after that, and have never regretted it.

Secure caravan storage. Alcatraz (as we like to call it) is Gold CASSoA (our drive isn't) has a 12 foot fence(like our drive doesn't) CCTV (like our drive doesn't) and gets us a discount off our insurance (like our drive doesn't). It's so much more secure than our drive it's a no-brainer for us.
storage, ours is cossa gold and the owner says he has not had one gone in 27 years. But the only thing that worries me is damage by others touch wood not happend yet.
At home for us - we did use storage for a couple of years but prefer it at home - easier to clean, repair, load etc. As above our house is occupied when we are away so no worries - also neighbours are great.
At home, in the garden behind locked gates, wheel lock on, hitch lock on and we have cctv front and back of house. Also have good neighbours and there is someone here when we are away. It is needed at home for when the grandchildren visit, they prefer to sleep in it rather than in the house (they say its like being on holiday).
