Probably not that difficult to do. A lot of motor homes have an AlKo chassis bolted onto the base vehicle chassis, so theoretically, you could take an accident damaged motor home and unbolt the habitation area from the chassis and bolt an AlKo caravan chassis straight on. In practice it's probably not going to be quite that easy, but probably not a lot more work than trying to convert a van into a motorhome and as you can see in the pictures gives a much better result.

I'll be interested to see what it sells for... My guess is that it won't make reserve.

I wonder whether he has checked the loadings on the rear axle?
And how is that huge rear overhang going to cope with some steeper slopes?

I see the bidding as suddenly started to go up. He's also got two listed. One Roma Supreme, one Buccaneer Superstar... Both have the same pictures... Maybe it is a bit more dodgy than it appears.

Have you looked at all the pics - there's no sign of a loo cassette door! You'd think if he was going to go to all that bother he'd have made sure it had a toilet on board, unless there's a porta-potti stashed somewhere.

mmm I thought there was a legal limit on the length behind the rearmost axle?

Mmmm quick search, Overhang must not exceed 60% of the wheelbase, or 60% +11cm for more than 2 axles.

That must be approx 90%.

Also have my doubts about it being below 3.5t.

Someone will be in for a shock when they buy that, DVLA says it should be yellow.
