Well Sunday is the big day down to Pembrokeshire for my first holiday ina caravan went away for a weekend 2 weeks ago n the kids loved it still can't get comfy on the make up bed ! Does it get any easier or any tips apart from that think I've got everything ,,,,,, hopefully any tips welcome
Turning the cushions over can help as can reversing the position of them another thing is to use a duvet as a covering or a memory foam topper but the best...
Is to get a fixed double bed caravan

Hi, when you make up your bed do you turn your cushions over and sleep on the flat side? Also if you sleep with a duvet under you it'll make a difference. If all else fails buy a memory foam mattress topper - excellent bit of kit!!
Oops, talk about double posting. I did my post on my mobile and by the time I'd finished it Rune Caster had beat me to it!! Totally agree with him though, fixed beds are better. Especially island beds with mattress toppers
In a couple of years maybe fixed bed as some one said" caravanning a cheap holiday from an expensive hobby" very true Im now skint so a quilt will have to do
thanks

Our front bed is really uncomfortable and we've found that the most comfortable way to sleep on it is with our heads under the front window with our feet facing towards the back. We put a quilt underneath us and that has been the best for us as we are laying on the longer cushions as opposed to laying accross them.
Hi Mutley. Good luck for your first major holiday. Excellent choice of places to go. We're heading there in a couple of weeks - can't wait. Spending my day off today getting all the camping kit down from its storage cupboard and checking everything's OK. And there's a lot of it. But then there needs to be for our group of eight adults, two children, two toddlers and a baby.
