Could anyone possibly suggest the most caravan friendly way to access Seahouses from the A1,( travelling from the south ). There are lots of roads but I'm guessing some are not suitable.

Ive  just tried the Michelin link myself, always looking for a good routeplanner.  Just asked for a route from where I live to Helmsley in North Yorks, using the caravan button.  Both suggested routes went via Sutton Bank, and caravans are strictly prohibited on Sutton Bank, Not sure Id trust this one any  more than any of the others to be honest.
