As a new owner of a new caravan which apparently are most desirable according to C&CC, Im really nervous about ours on the drive (Im sure all new owners are the same). We have a Milenco on one side and an Alko special lock on the other, & full stop hitchlock, but I know these are just slowing devices & not really foolproof - in the Autumn OH is going to fit a security post and put Winter Wheels on it - what else can you do! Fortunately as a stay at home mum my car is parked alongside it most of the time which is possibly the best deterrent we have!
The only other reassuring thing is that there are several really nice caravans nearby including a lovely twin axle triple bunk peggy which are probably easier to get at than ours and so far (touching wood) they have remained on the drives
Just be aware that if you fit winter wheels, and you don't then have wheel clamps on, the insurance co might use that against you!
The security post is one of the better ideas in my opinion, in fact I have one fitted on my drive!
Simple to operate but effective in helping deter potential thieves!
