Its pretty easy. Wait till you are guided on and follow their instructions. Just take it slow.
Make sure you put the handbrake on both car and caravan, disconnect the electrics otherwise fridge can drain battery and dont set the alarm on either car or caravan. Quite interesting to sit and watch and listen to all the alarms going off :)

We went on Brittany ferries recently and the loading ramp was nice and level, just go slow as you go onto it initially with car & van. I have seem lots of corner steady pads ripped off on the ramp front. The previous twice with LD Lines the ramp was at a bit of an angle so if its wet don't go too close behind the guy in front in case he stops. A hill start on a slippery ramp is not good as wheel grip is poor, best to go steady and keep moving. I'm sure you will be fine, enjoy.
Be sure to let the handbreak off the caravan again before you are requested to move off, I didn't and felt a right pratt, I held the whole lane up as he then let the next lane off instead. Won't happen again though.
Lol, make 6 return ferry trips with the caravan each year, across the Irish Sea.
Drive on as directed, park as directed, drive off as directed! Other than ensuring the gas is turned off, and both car and caravan are locked while on board, forget about anything else!!
