Sitting at Birkenhead on the 'Ferry cross the Mersey' last week it dawned on me that if I was not a caravanner I doubt if I would ever have had any reason to be on this particular famous boat, neither would I have cycled(or known about) the fabulous Wirral way, I doubt if I would have found a spectacular waterfall or the massive dam in a forest in Wales, walking around a decommissioned nuclear power station was also an unforgetable experience, the time we watched a barn owl hunting from our caravan window was also a magic moment. Finding sites 'off' the tourist track for me is the best thing about caravanning. 

Caravaning and Geo-caching have led me to some of the most magical places I have been fortunate to visit ,thats why we caravan all year including 2 Yuletides away .
