Hi bakers-cottage, Very good luck to you, and yes £600 a month is a good saveing, could be the deposit on a house in few years, or a new van, know your not new to caravaning (memory refresher Propane for those winter days), thermals for the aqua roll, and your self, and you can always boil the snow to make the tea, starting to wish there was another pitch there, seriously though the very best of luck to you.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
John

We sold all our belongings when our youngest daughter was just under 12 months old and the eldest was 2 and a half around 25 years ago now, there were no jobs around and no real reasons for us to stay in the area, so we decided to sell everything and moved into a very small old caravan around 13 feet along with the dog. We first went to Buxton and stayed on a farm on Long Hill, but we could not find work there, so went ventured down to Penzance!!!, we were young and care free, the kids and us loved it. Both myself and husband found jobs and eventually my hsbands employer let us move into his old mobile home, which had seperate bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/diner and lounge along with a coal fire. This went well until the employer fired my husband because he was too ill to go to work with the mumps, luckily we still had our old tourer, we had no idea where to go and so we stuck a pin in the map, and ended up in Dorset!! We spent a few happy years in our old van before eventually being housed in a council house. We had great times in our van and given the choice my husband and I would do it again, we would quite happily give up our home to live in a van again if the opportunity arose, how I envy your new adventure. Good luck with it and enjoy.
