There should be a float sensor. Open the valve and look in and it should be somewhere near where that opening is. It is white (well mine is). If you don't have a wobbly thing inside your cassette then maybe you don't have the sensor which lights up your loo. They can get knocked off with vigorous shaking of the cassette when you clean it.

Should be easy to spot. I can look inside mine without a mirror to see it. Its tough when you're wobbly thing has gone

Hi, our light hasnt worked in the 12 months weve had our van. I did change the batteries and still no joy.....

I did wander what it is i hear inside when i empty it and have in the past gave it a good strong shake trying to free the thing inside...lol

Now i know why mine doesnt work, after the good shake i gave it when i first heard the noise...................Silly me lol   

As an alternative, open the loo and put your hand down...if it comes above the wrist its time to empty........

If your not sure what is inside or should be inside , then, if you have a local Caravan shop maybe pop in and look at any loo cassette like yours.....
