Just been to look at one of these vans in North Wales - very impressed compared to other 6 berth units we have looked at with a rear bedroom.  We noticed, however, that the roof lights were much smaller than other models and not located at the front.  Any Adria owners with any comments on this - are the vans light enough during the day?  Any other experience of Alteas also welcome.

We have the Altea 542 DT 2010 it has 2 of the standard roof lights in the van.  I find the van very light during the day.  The only thing which would have been nice would have been a roof light in the shower/toilet area. But this is no biggie. I know you can have the bigger roof light fitted if required.

We have had our van for almost a year now and think it is Fantastic.

We also have the 542DT and again it has two small roof lights 400 X 400. The interior is light and airy and we find it great! You won't have a problem with light as it has plenty of windows and bunk windows are not on the awning side Huge bunks(I have slept on bottom bunk on 542UK,the previous model) and wide dinette.(will even fit 4 around) so no need for main table for a quick meal.

On the 2010 model the sides are polyester so no more bike or awning pole dings. They are built well. One downside is blown heating is only gas but a competent DIYer can fit the electic Ultraheat it for £150 (I have tthe T-shirt as has Robsonalan)
