Hi
When we were camping at Tollgate farm in July we heard an ominous crunch and looked out of the tent to see a caravan impailed on the washing up area canopy. This did quite considerable damage to the caravan (mostly I think during the recovery) but - and I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know who's caravan it was? If the caravan was repairable? and also if they made it back home ok.

Thanks Ratty, I was just wondering. Not worth bothering the campsite for. There was a 2m tear down the side of the caravan and the side window came out as well (think the campsite owner used silicone sealant to stick it back on).
Just wondered if it hindered their trip back at all. Don't know how far they had to go.

No, they drove the car around the corner but not the caravan! I really did feel sorry for them though.

We once lost our TV arial to one of those toilet blocks in France where the roof of the toilet block overhangs the building by some incredible amount   .......and it didn't seem to make much difference to the subsequent TV reception.  It was one of the old 'flying saucer type.

You have to be really careful with some of the continental overhanging rooves.  I shan't make the mistake twice.  Mind you, from what I can remember, the roof of the toilet block didn't escape entirely unscathed.
