Hi fallenangel, You could put fly screen netting glued down over the vents, and seal any gaps around the entery points for gas pipe and cables, and waste pipes, vent in toilet take off vent cover glue netting over vent replace cover, could do same with fridge exhaust vent, fridge may need to come out if doing floor vents under it,unless there is some way that can be done from under van, possibily make small light mesh box then glue netting to it inside box, and fit over the the vent. that will help stop them comming into van, as for ones in van, could try a shallow plate with some beer in it, that works for slugs, may work for the earwigs too.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.

Hi Fallen Angel - Go to the chemists and get some Boric Acid powder. Dust around the vents. It's practically harmless to children and pets, but kills invading crawlies really quickly. Then after the 'van is crawly free, hoover it all out, then use the fly screen stuff, or even old net curtain to stop them coming in again.
If your caravan is parked under trees, near hedges, etc, then make sure that there is nowhere for the earwigs to gather and breed, they love shade, and damp wet places, especially piles of rotting leaves, etc.
