Moving on from tent to campervan. What do we use to cover the van cushions for sleeping? In the tent we used a duvet over the plastic blowup beds, but in the mornings there was sometimes damp between the 2 layers. Don't care to think about the moisture soaking into the van cushions!
The damp was probably because of the airbed and the condensation caused, I'm assuming your caravan cushions aren't plastic airbeds! We do use a memory foam topper then a sheet but for comfort.

It was probably the air beds and being in a tent, I hated that damp feeling part of the reason we gave up tents, now in our caravan I just use a matress topper under a sheet, welcome to the luxury :)
I brought a double memory foam topper from poundstretcher £39.99 and put it in a duvet cover perfect the bed is extremely comfortable. The duvet cover makes a perfect bottom sheet and the mattress is about 2.5 inches thick, if you hang on they often have them on offer at £34.99.
we used to use a blow up mattress in the tent as well and when we got our 1st caravan just used the cushions as they were...
when we got our new van the existing cushions weren't very comfy as a bed so a 2-3 inch memory foam topper was bought and oh my... what a difference, would recommend it to anyone and everyone
