Hi. While cleaning the outer vents on the side of the caravan i noticed that one of the metal pipes on the back of the fridge is seriously corroded. Is it possible to change this pipe myself or do i need a professional ?

I would suggest you need to go to the Dometic (formally Electrolux) website and see if  you might find information there.

Not sure what information you may find on the Dometic website relating to your question, however the answer is:

Any work on gas appliances or feeds in a caravan must be carried out by a competent person unless that caravan is a static or a tourer intended to be hired out when the work must be undertaken by a person qualified in the field of work that is being undertaken (i.e. a domestic gas fitter may mot be qualified to work with LPG)

An RM 212 Is Electrolux/Dometic, I think. To answer the op, If the corroded pipe is a coolant pipe no it can't be replaced, if it leaks, the fridge is scrap. If you mean the flue has rusted thru then it could well catch fire if try to run it on gas.

Trace the pipe, if it routes away from the fridge it will be the gas pipe. Light surface rust won't be a prob but deep scaly rust is not good. Gas pipes are generally coated & don't rust. More likely to be a coolant pipe.
