Yep there is, as I found out when I started complaining about how useless it was becoming from when I first started using it - I think we can lay the blame on the DIY houses who kept wanting a cheaper and cheaper product year on year - the only way it could be done was for the manufacturers to add more and more filler, usually chalk and as we all know chalk sticks to nowt

but as I said the decent stuff now is upwards of £7 a tube

I can only agree with the above after many attempts over the years to seal our house shower tray with varying times of remaining leak free

It seems OK this time after buying more expensive silicon sealer from a plumbers/UPVC merchant
