Be careful with pooling of water ...
My dad had an awning that pooled like you detail. We went to the pub and whilst there a massive storm accured.
The water just pooled and couldnt get away within minutes. we arrived back to see teh whole of the middle sunk with the poles bent and a huge pool of water iin the middle that we could not shift because it was so heavy. Had to just rip it down.
You would not think it can happen but it could. Try to put some extra poles in.
