We have an on-board tank, and there are three options.
First, fill an aquaroll, and use the pump that comes with the van. Attach to the filler point, drop the filter and pipes into the aquaroll, and switch on, and fill the tank.
Second option - and we use this for example for an overnight stay - is to simply use the aquaroll. Connect up as above, and change the tank selector from "inside tank" to "outside tank".
The third option is when on fully serviced pitches. We use an aquaroll, and it is fitted with a float mechanism via the side opening. This is connected via a hose to the mains watwer. It automatically keeps the hot water tank filled, and tops up the aquaroll as water is drawn off.
In winter, and in very cold conditions, we only use the on-board tan
