Hi, I have an NR executive awning and Adria Altea 542DT.

I have noticed that I get quite a few drops of rain that gets through between the awning rail and the awning itself. This then runs down the side of the van (awning side of course). I didn't notice this so much on my last van( 542uk) with the same awning. Is there something you can put in the awning track to improve this (ie spray grease etc). I am looking to use this for a seasonal and want to keep everything as dry as possible.

Never heard of this one before. Is tyhe beading on your awning too small for the rail?

Ours is toughish to slide and we have never had leaks.??

Hi we had the same problem on our Bailey senator the awning rail was fitted in two parts and water was seeping through the join a little bit of plastic and atube of arldite on the underside of the rail fixed it really well

providing the rail is sound against the side and no sealer is missing,it is possible that the joins of the rail are leaking.i have this in the center of our bailey.it runs down the van and over the window.i have decided to stick a strip of half inch alloy on the roof edge about two foot long then the water will run to the channel each side.the strip i got from a maker of alloy double glazed doors and is self adhesive.to do list.

It is not limited to one area. It seems to be along the length of the track. It seems to be tight enough in the track. I will give NR a ring to see if they can give any advice. Thanks

I have the same problem - albeit in one small place. Its not coming in between the rail and the awning, its coming in between the reail and the van!
     Vans been checked for damp - all is well. Dealer says it might be a lack of sealant and the pull of the awning is opening the gap between the van and the rail.

Just had the same problem in one place with my folding camper (hard top with normal awning rail). We sealed along the top of the awning rail and had no leaks in heavy rain last weekend so hope the problem has been solved.
