Hello all sellers

OK here i go,if you were to buy a carry a van would you buy by information only?

Or would you want to see lots of pic's of what you may consider buying.

We are going to look to purchase a carry a van next year and would only be interested in only looking to buy one where the seller has made a effort to sell their van.

1 if pictures are added then please put then on the right way round.

2 show as many as you can

3 Please be honest.

4 If you are proud to sell your van IE second third hand then put it in your details as much is important not enough is a put off so is over the top.

I have been looking on this site also eBay and for me i will read every detail,if someone just puts 2 berth good con with no effort to sell their van then i would not even consider them, but as some do sell their vans telling you the good and bad and also reason for sale .

Just had a look at the free ads on here wont even look at the ones with no pics.

Anyway sellers i hope i will be buying our carry a van soon.

Hi
We are looking for a van too and I asked in a separate post a while ago why there were so few photos?

Is it difficult to load them onto the free ads here?

We have to contact the seller, leave an email then get them emailed then reply! It seems such a long way round and can't be easy for the seller to email everyone who asks for more details/

Is it a security issue?

It certainly helps to see the photos.

thanks

Fact is if you want to sell a caravan(carry a van??)on ebay you need a full detailed description & as many good quailty photos as you can. If you watch listings, its the detailed ones with plenty of pics that get the best prices everytime.

Imho, if a seller can't be bothered to do a good listing it don't say a lot for the 'carry a van' they are trying to sell. Having said that, it might be worth bidding on a poor listing to get a bargain, but go & see it first.

I would only want to see actual photos of any item i was buying - library photos (or no photos) are useless. I wouldn't  spend my hard earned money if i didn't know what i was buying! Who would?

We've just sold an awning annex on ebay and we posted loads of photos, the bad points as well, so that the buyer knows exactly what they are getting.

I look most days on ebay and here,

Most sellers do make an effort to sell their vans, but if a van is 80/100 miles away then we would not go to view first so i would have to be confident in the write up and photo's.When the time comes i will be asking the seller lots of questions as well.

When we sold I didn't bother with photos on the advert. I emailed them and I had plenty of prospective buyers. Couldn't be bothered with the people who asked a million and one questions on the phone when it was easier for them to view the caravan. Second person to view bought it without quibling on the price. It works both ways. Ebay classifieds was a waste of time.

You can always email the seller for pics, they don't have to put them on the advert (it costs money) Why pay to advertise if you don't need to?

I have sold plenty of things with or without pictures, doesn't mean the item is in bad condition, anyway you would want to go and view it in 'real life' first anyway, even good pictures wont show faults!
