I am looking to purchase a new porch awning and was considering a Kampa Rallye 390, has anyone got one? If so how do you find it and is it quick to put up and take down? We currently use a Sunncamp 390 lightweight porch, which we use a lot and is now starting to look tired.
We have the 260 version and are very pleased with it, yes it is very quick and easy to use, it just takes a bit of familiarisation the first time around and you need to fit the bottom ladder peg attachments before you go on site, which is just a half hour job that only needs doing once!
Would recomend that you buy the storm straps and rear upright poles at the same time as your awning, as they can be dificult to source separatelyafterwards.

Hi, We have recently purchased a Kampa 390, it takes 2 of us about 20 minutes to errect even in fairly strong winds but I imagine i could easily do it on my own (weather permitting) once it's up it fits snugly to the van with the extra rear poles. Taking it down is no problem at all and folds up neatly to fit back in the bag. All in all I am really pleased with it.
We recently bought one and I put it up on my own. As Julai says the first time - it takes longer. I would suggest buying the monsoon poles to stop rain pools forming on the roof sections. Enjoy.
Hi, we are also looking to by one of these untill i was told about these ...
Very similar, but come with all the extras ie zipp in annexe, two birth inner tent, internal roof support bars (monsoon poles), rear upright poles and a covered front porch.
seems a great buy for pretty much the same cost as the kampa.
