right folks wee bit of info, BPW are unable to supply any corner steadies to fit pre 2000 fleetwoods, I found out after the thread sheared on one of mine. they can but at about £60 and a 6-8 week delivery time
the fix is to buy an alko one for £25 and go to a local fabricator and get the bolt holes re-drilled and get the L bracket extended and drilled. better than drilling the van's chassis. the fabrication work is £20 at the most
even better, dont be a muppet like me and overtighten the leg when raising it
HTH, off topic, did that Disco3 have road tyres on at knockhill? It got stuck which is very unusual given its capabilities. Bit of a debate on the Disco3.co.uk forum about boggy ground, road tyres, 2.7tonne sinking pulling car etc.. any ideas?

2 probs with that disco, yes it was on road tyres also that bit of the infield is the lowest on the circuit and is extremely boggy peaty ground, i almost lost a boot there earlier this year. TBH i am surprised we got the race car out of there okay. if it is rainy that area is a foot deep in water
new steady now on van and found the problem with the old one, under 13 years of grot and grease is a split pin that had worn away, so cleaned up the old one threads are like new. will tap in a new pin and it might go on the van on the other side. can see me overhauling all 4 of the things
