Hi LindaB
While the Bessacarr is ok but sorry for me they are way over priced for what you get.
You do not say what year Bessacar you are looking at, but for your budget my advice would be to shop around as there are some very nice 2 berth Caravans that will give you more AND you should get a newer second hand caravan for the same price.
As a first time buyer and a budget of £4k you can look at caravans around £4.500/£4.750 as remember Negotiate, Negotiate , Negotiate off the asking price, (min 10-15%) and while you are admiring all the nice inside take a 'good' look at the outside!, BUT 'if buying privatly' do not pay for the Caravan until you check the VIN number out with CRiS (Caravan Registration & Identification Scheme). www.crischeck.com, it is money well spent incase it is a repaired write off or stolen caravan or if there is also any outstanding hp/debts on the caravan.
Same goes for a Main Cravan dealer in negotiating, actually the bigger the dealer sometimes better the deal AND the caravan should have no signs of damp (get a 1 year guarantee min).
Hope this may help
Mike
