We have a signal booster and directional aerial that came with the caravan. We use it all the time and mostly get a perfectly good picture as long as we make sure we know whether the signal is analogue or digital and what direction it's coming from !
Anyway - I blew a 10 amp fuse the other day (using a bloomin' 12V tyre air compressor that I'm about to send back !) - this meant that the signal booster wasn't on - so when we were in the Isle of Wight last week the signal was a bit disappointing - lots of dots every where ! So I replaced the 10 amp fuse, the light on the signal booster came on - and and lo and behold a perfectly clear picture !
So...... !?
P.S. I just checked on the CC site and the signal at Southlands (IoW) is good apparently - so perhaps caravan aerials need boosters !
