Hi might be a silly question, but I have a 2 berth caravan with an end kitchen arrangement.
My question regards the bed. Is there any reason why I shouldn't travel with the front bed already made up?
I'm just thinking that if I did this before setting out on trips, it would save time when I get to site, and messing around with cushions and bedding and what not??
We've travelled with out bed made up several times. What you should never be tempted to to is go to bed on route. It is dangerous and illegal to tow with someone in the vasn.

The bed in mine has been permanently made up from day one, I've never had any problems travelling with it like that and it saves such a lot of hassle when I get to where I'm going.

Yes that's what I was thinking to. Especially if I'm travelling alone with the dog. We can just open the door and settle straight in.
Just thought I'd check just in case there was any reason not to do this. I suppose the bedding might fall off, but if I tuck it in well, should stay put.
If we're travelling long distance i always make the bed up so we can stop and not have to make the bed up to sleep. It also stays made up all the time we are away.
How i'd love a fixed bed caravan! I hope it will happen one day soon (sooner rather than later but me thinks not!) Just the little matter of having the money!
We have done it too, I know it only takes a few minutes to set up but sometimes if we go away for a weekend and leave when OH gets home from work late Friday and by the time we have got there pitched up ect all we have to do is flop into bed
