You may have seen from a previous post that we were about to purchase a Swift Archway Lowick, but we have changed our minds and found a 1994 lunar planet chiron 2 berth in fantastic condition, and are picking it up on Saturday!
I wondered if anybody has any knowledge of this caravan and could tell me where I could find original dealers brochures on it giving full dimensions etc?
I remember the Lunar Chiron , it was our dream caravan 15 years ago , i remember the spacious L shaped lounge and the WC area with the lift up cushion wich had the toilet underneath , yes they were very nice , i am sure you will enjoy it

thanks for the reply. It's nice to know that although the caravan is not new, you agree it is a nice caravan. We are looking forward to collecting it on Saturday.
Hope you have will have many happy trips away in your van. We started off with a 1992 swift challenger bought off ebay and it got us into caravanning in a big way. We went away most weekends august - october last year and our kids just loved getting out and about. Our latest van is 2 years old yet sometimes I really do miss that first van it was like a member of the family !!
Many thanks for your comments, we can't wait to get it home and make it 'ours'!
It will be great to have a caravan once more, and now we can sell our tent etc, which was great, but, we have realised there is no comparison. Now it won't matter if it's raining when we pull on/off site!
we no longer have the Lunar, but I must say it was one of the best caravans we have had. It was very comfortable, light to tow, and so spacious for two people.
Thank you we like the layout, we just started caravaning this year, we got a tiny 1982 avondale perle which was fine for weekends, but when we saw this we loved the look of itso much space, did you get the Carver heater Problem sorted as it looks like we have the same problem I have emailed arc to see what they say

Hi,
I have a 1995 planet Chiron and unfortunately the kitchen window has blown out whilst towing leaving just the hinge, if anyone has a lunar Chiron could they please measure the size of the Perspex window and let me have them so that I can search for a replacement, awaiting in hope, thanks Mick.
