As per the water vapour and covers & we have condensation - what dehumidifier would you recommend for a van on your drive.

Would you go with the recharbles such as Michael suggests or do you think I should just go for a mains unit dehumidifier  although Im not sure if I can get mains elec to it without taking the cover off....?

Don`t see the point of a dehumidifier unless you seal off all the vents - you are just trying to dehumidify the entire Earths atmosphere otherwise.

Having said that, I used to use a mains unit with my old van, but I did seal ALL of the vents over winter, and found it collected very little water - so now I don`t bother, just open the windows or door if we get a bright sunny (!) day.

Well as I see it if we don't remove cover (which we don't want to do for various reasons) what other options do I have?

Not really, I just unzip the cover where the door is, must take all of.......... 5 seconds?
