congrats Gaz on being free to tow as and when you want to. I do understand how Nedra feels though cause my hubby doesn't currently drive but due to my disability it looks like he's gonna have to learn to drive and then complete the B & E test as well as I intend to get a caravan again for next year and I know I'm gonna hate him doing it, but needs must sigh

Thanks Dianne, I do hope your hubby will get on ok with his driving lessons and then his B & E test. Its amazing how useful a driving licence is, I don't particularly enjoy driving but would be completely lost without being able to drive, Despite living on the outskirts of a fairly big town I still need to use the car and definintely wouldn't fancy struggling with 4 kids on the bus

You could always get a Granvia like mine - brilliant towcar (according to my ex), plenty room for kids during the week and any gear when you're off on your travels

Gaz although he loves cars he don't want to drive but he knows that driving is getting too much for me now so is prepared to learn, whether he passes his test or not is another thing lol

I would love one, we have a people carrier at the moment which is great for space but I do love the look of the granvias, Is there enough space in the boot though with all the seats in for the 3 dogs in the boot? (2 lab size and a beagle size)

If you were to move the seats forward Gaz you may be able to fit all the dogs in - this gives you an idea of the space, though they may go further forward than that.
I never really took much notice of the space as the back seats were taken out immediately after purchase and my ex made a safe area for the dogs with storage underneath
Their bed is raised 1ft above the van floor and measures 2ft 6ins from the tailgate to the dog guard.

Ooh thats given me some ideas tigermouse, thanks for the pics, Just gotta convince OH now that we need one.
I love the sharan but think that if we had another csar csapable of towing (currently have 1 big one and 2 little runarounds) then we would be better off inccase one breaks down
(plus I would rather drive an auto than a manual and she prefers manuals to auto)so we could have a towcar each

Just to add to that Gaz, if it's any help, the width of the van at the back from wall to wall is approx. 5ft. And it's an auto, and an absolute dream to drive.
