Hello everyone, going to buy a NR Pullman for our van.  But it measures 895 and the NR sizing is 869-899 or 899-930.  Spoke to NR and they don't wont to recommend which size in case its wrong.  If anything they stated that the bigger one would probably be safer to order, better to be too big than too small.  Any advice?? Obviously dont want one too small but also dont want one that will flap around and gather water on the roof. Oh life is never easy!!

Personally i would go for the smaller one as you want as tight a fitting as possible because if you go for the bigger one you have more chance of when it rains pooling will happen on the roof.
If thats the measurement you did yourself definetly the smaller one. Go double check your van to be sure.
I always tell my customers to go for the tighter fitting.

Hope this helps
Ben

I would definitely go for a tight fitting awning if possible.  An awning which is too big is a disaster in my book.

We recently changed our caravan for a slightly longer one - and we have kept the same Isabella 975cm awning without having it altered.  Isabella advised that a 975 would just about fit our van, although a 989cm is their recommendation.  Both sizes use the same frame size anyway.

Although we were dubious about it being too small, we have found that it fits a treat and we are delighted to be able to keep it, without having it enlarged.

We once had a Dorema awning which was bit generous even though it was the recommended size for the van and it was a pain to try and peg out neatly.  It had creases and saggy bits (a bit like me!) no matter what we did.
