well after much serching and collecting samples and sticking them up in the van and sitting looking at them for houes we have made a decsison.  its just perfcet and hubby loves it aswell. got to get toning fabric for cussions and curtins now to coordanate

I was gonna suggest that the large pattern could make the 'van feel claustrophobic.  Then I saw the upholstery fabric in your gallery

If I were being unkind, I'd say it's hideous.  But I'll be polite and call it 'individual'.

 that on the cussion so far is just tiger pattern throws to cover up the valour fabric on the cussion as my dauter cant sand to touch it but there off ready for a proper recover. but have to say for the new curtins and cussions think I might be looking at sarie fabrics hubby said its going to look like a arabian brothel lol.  But he cant moan he picked the boldest of the wall papers I had picked some quieter ones but he didnt like them. I thought the paper might draw the van in but the prints not as big as it looks and becoues the back ground is silver it actuly makes it look brigher

   shes an old caravan and think she might aswell go ott and have fun with her and if the colours dont work they can allways be redone as i get board easly anyway lol

I'm sure you'll be made up with it when finished. 

It really doesn't matter what I, or anyone else, thinks - you're the one that has to live (or holiday) with it.

Can't help but agree. Sorry but it is hideous. Can't imagine waking up to that every morning but it is a good job we aren't all the same.

We did wonder if ordinary wallpaper could be used in a caravan. Do you just use ordinary wallpaper paste to put it up with ?

Btw fallenangel it's definitely not my taste but it's not my 'van, so whatever floats your boat, & like you said, it's fun & it's different, which are things I definitely do like !

It's your van,bought and paid for so do what you want with it

I love people who are different and bold

By the way I will look out for hubbys car when next around Bolton and Bury

 my dad did there marader in the 80s with flock wallpapper and he just used pva and it lasted the 10 years after he still have the van  and dont know how long after that. theres not realy any tricky corners as the front of the van is all storge so its just 2 side panles. I remember my dad puting colours chalk around the windows so he held the paper up and rubbeda little and it gave him a guild to cuting out thats the trickest bit and the chalk just wipes of the rubber. I think this will be even easer as its a mock flock and washabel so easy to keep clean.   I have found some stick on mirror on a role and i am going to do the bathroom door panles with it and mybe the small cothe cupboard as it will help to keep it light. I put all this wired tast down to my perants they should have bought me a wendy houes when I was a kids and i could have had that pink and blingy lol  

 Tha cars got gold stars on at the momnet matching my scooter and i am still trying to talk him out of PINk flowers on it lol
