We are moving our van from a site in dorset to a new site in dawlish,but problem being our car is not heavy enough to tow it from one site to another.When we bought the van we knew this,but the caravan company took it down for us,so we have never towed it.

Does anyone have any suggestions on getting around this problem.

there is a firm i will look to find it they move vans from a to b but dont have a clue what they charge ill see if i can find it anf post link for you

start towing it ...let the car breakdown (sabotage) then ring the rac to get the van there for you?

you are so kind rune caster but that goes for most caravaners ,we would do the same if we lived nearer and have done for a friend who although he has the big car etc just hasnt the confidence to tow.

If your dealer delivered it in the first place, perhaps they would relocate it for you, even if its for a moderate fee? At least they might have someone on site who could do it as a "foreigner" one weekend?
